Betty Ball works out of her Rowayton, Connecticut studio and the studios at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk.

She received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and has been working as a designer and fine artist ever since. Both a painter and a printmaker, Ball has exhibited widely in invitational and juried solo and group exhibitions around the world, most recently being included in “Art on Paper” New York and “Affordable Art Fair” New York.

Her work is in public and corporate collections, including the Permanent Collection of the Hong Kong Open Print Shop, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Stamford Hospital.

Ball’s particular interest is in light; in her words,  “Light defines what we see.  Light’s purity and transcendent qualities are at the heart of my work.  I make art that is observational, beautiful, sensuous, and open to interpretation.”
